ALA/IGS Program Donation
- Donations are used to underwrite the Girls State Program.
ALA/ IGS Registration
- Units prepay the $400 fee to send a citizen to ALA IGS.
- 85th session of ALA Illini Girls State –
- Eastern Illinois University in Charleston
- Sunday June 21st to Saturday June 27th, 2026.
- Fee – $400 per citizen.
- Goal is for each of the 400 Illinois Auxiliary Units to send a candidate to ALA IGS.
- Reach out to your local school counselors, principals, history teachers/division heads and share the details of our program.
- Home schoolers are welcome to attend.
- Financial Assistance on a limited basis is available to help with the cost to send a girl. Contact the Director or the Department Office for further information.
- Applications and all pertinent information will be sent to each Unit by mail in the Fall Program information.
- Applications etc. can be accessed online at either alaigs.org or www.ilala.org

- Unit raffle drawing for one Unit to receive a $400 registration refund if the completed application and check for the attending citizen arrive in the Department Office no later than April 1, 2026.

Personal Awards:
- $10 to the Unit, sponsoring the most citizens in 2025 All citizens must attend ALA IGS to qualify for this award. If a tie a drawing will be held.
- $10 to the Unit for the most unique way of promoting the ALA IGS program to inspire young ladies to attend, as provided to the Director in narrative form.
